How guidance works
Guidance in Missale is not a conversation. It is a choice among Catholic responses that have already been reviewed.
Say in your own words what you are feeling.
From 720 reviewed Catholic responses, 240 per language, the AI picks the one that fits your text best. It writes nothing new.
A Psalm, a saint who went through something similar, and one concrete step for the day.
Privacy
What you write stays on your phone.
The text you write leaves your device only when you tap the button to receive guidance. We do not store that text.
For subscribers with personalization turned on, a few texts are sent out to choose what to show: the Rosary intention, your Examen answers, the morning intention and, for the Word of the day, your latest "Today I am…" entry. This only starts after you allow it, and you can turn it off in Settings. In both cases, the text is used only to choose something from the reviewed collection.
